0x800cce05 Error with MS Outlook

The error 0x800cce05 is an error associated with MS Outlook. Specifically, this error prevents the user from sending emails.  Receiving email sis unaffected. The issue seems to relate specifically to Windows 10 and seems to be to be caused by some correupted files within the Windows 10 filesystem.

Follow the following instructions run System File Checker Scan in order to find and fix the issue.

1. Open the Command Prompt (Admin) by pressing Win + X keys on the keyboard and select Command Prompt (Admin) from the list.
2. Inside the Command Prompt, type sfc /scannow and hit Enter key to let it execute the command.   SFC will now start scanning and verifying the system for corrupted files and it will automatically fix any errors. This process may take upto 15 minutes. Once complete, you can check this has worked by attempting to send an email through Outlook.
