Email Settings (eXtend Hosting)

Your Email Settings for hosting accounts through watchthedot.com should be set as follows

Username and Passwords
Username: Your email address
Email:  Your email address
Password: Your email password
Your email password can be found within your Host control panel

Incoming Server
Account Type: IMAP (recommended) but POP can be used if you would prefer 
Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com  eg mail.watchthedot.com
Incoming mail server (IMAP) port : 143
Incoming mail server (POP) port : 110


Outgoing Server
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com  eg mail.watchthedot.com 
Outgoing mail server port:  587
Outgoing mail server requires authentication
Security: STARTTLS

Ensure that 'Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) remains unchecked. This is important as you may experience difficulty sending email with this enabled.
