EZ Coming Soon hides your site behind a coming soon or maintenance page while you build or update it. No complicated settings and no visual builder: choose a mode and get on with the work.
It also blocks the REST API and XML-RPC, so nobody can read your unfinished content another way.

Letting clients preview the site
- Logged-in users with permission see the real site.
- A bypass link lets someone without an account preview it for a while.
- An IP allowlist lets an office or client network straight through.
Questions
Which mode should I use for a short outage?
Maintenance mode. It tells search engines the site is temporarily unavailable, so your rankings aren’t affected.
Can I design my own coming soon page?
Yes. Choose “Use template” and add a coming soon template to your theme: a coming_soon.php file in a classic theme, or a “Coming Soon” template in a block theme.
My site is behind Cloudflare. Does the IP allowlist still work?
Yes. Turn on the setting that says your site is behind a proxy or CDN, so the plugin sees visitors’ real addresses.
Is this the “Easy Coming Soon” plugin?
No. That’s a different plugin. Ours is EZ Coming Soon, by Watch the Dot.
